SendTroy

Privacy Policy

Last updated 11 August 2026

This explains what SendTroy collects, why, who else sees it, and how to have it deleted. It covers the SendTroy website at sendtroy.team and the SendTroy application at app.sendtroy.team.

1. What we collect

WhatWhy we have it
Your name and email address To create your account, sign you in, and contact you about the service
Your password, stored as a one-way hash To sign you in. We cannot read your password and cannot recover it for you
Content you create or upload — briefs, scripts, images, video, audio It is the work the service exists to produce and publish
Basic profile information from social accounts you connect — the account's ID, display name and profile picture So you can see which account you connected, and confirm it is the right one before anything is published to it
Access tokens for social accounts you connect To publish approved content to those accounts. Stored encrypted
A record of what was published, when, and who approved it So the question "what did we actually put out" always has an answer
Technical logs — IP address, browser, timestamps, errors To keep the service secure and to diagnose faults

We do not collect special category data (health, biometrics, political opinions and similar), and you should not put it into the service.

2. Data from social platforms you connect

When you connect a social media account, the platform shows you a permission screen listing exactly what you are granting. We receive only what that screen describes.

TikTok

If you connect a TikTok account, we request the minimum needed to do the job:

We do not read your TikTok followers, your private messages, your analytics or your existing posts. We do not display your TikTok content on our website or anywhere else. We do not use anything received from TikTok to train AI models. We do not sell it and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

The same principles apply to every other platform we support — we ask for the narrowest permission that lets us publish what you approved, and we use it for nothing else.

3. AI processing

SendTroy uses third-party AI models to write copy, design scenes, and review the content it produces. To do that, the text and images involved in a piece of work are sent to those model providers for processing.

4. Who else sees your data

We share data only with services required to run SendTroy:

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it for advertising. We will disclose data if we are legally required to, and where we are permitted to tell you, we will.

5. How long we keep it

6. Your rights

You can ask us to:

Email hello@sendtroy.team and we will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.

7. How to disconnect an account or delete your data

To disconnect a social account: open Settings in the SendTroy app, find the connected account, and remove it. The stored access token is deleted at that point and we can no longer act on that account. You can also revoke SendTroy's access from inside the platform's own settings — for TikTok, under Security & Permissions → Manage app permissions.

To delete everything: close your account in Settings, or email hello@sendtroy.team asking us to. Tokens are deleted immediately; content within 30 days; backups within 90 days as they expire.

8. Security

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your data we will tell you and the relevant authority, as the law requires.

9. Children

SendTroy is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has an account, tell us and we will delete it.

10. Where your data is held

Our servers are in the United States. If you are outside the United States, using SendTroy means your data is transferred there and processed under this policy.

11. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top, and for material changes we will notify account holders by email or in the product before the change takes effect.

12. Contact

Privacy questions, requests, or complaints: hello@sendtroy.team.

Plain-language note. This is written to be understood rather than to sound legal, and it has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Before you rely on it commercially, have someone qualified in your jurisdiction check it — particularly the retention table, which should match what the software actually does.
