Terms of Service
Last updated 11 August 2026
SendTroy is a software service that plans, produces and schedules marketing content using AI agents. These terms are the agreement between you and SendTroy when you use it. If you do not agree with them, do not use the service.
1. What the service does
SendTroy takes a goal you describe, turns it into a plan, produces content against that plan, and — where you have connected a social media account and approved the content — schedules and publishes that content to the account you connected.
Publishing is always downstream of an approval. The service does not post content you have not approved.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure, and for everything done through your account.
- You must give accurate information when you sign up, and keep it current.
- One person or organisation per account. Do not share an account with people outside your organisation.
3. Connecting social media accounts
To publish on your behalf, SendTroy asks you to connect the social media accounts you want it to post to. Connecting an account means you authorise SendTroy to act on that account in the ways the platform's permission screen describes, and no others.
- You may only connect accounts you own or are authorised to manage.
- You remain bound by each platform's own terms — including TikTok, Meta and LinkedIn — when content is published to it through SendTroy.
- You can disconnect any account at any time from your SendTroy settings. Disconnecting revokes our access and deletes the stored access tokens for that account.
4. Content, and who owns it
You own what you make. Content you upload, and content SendTroy produces for you, is yours. We claim no ownership of it.
We need a limited licence to operate: permission to store, process, render and transmit your content for the purpose of providing the service to you — for example, to render a video, to show you a preview, or to publish an approved post to a channel you connected. That licence ends when you delete the content or close your account, except for copies retained in routine backups until those backups expire.
Stock media and music
SendTroy can include third-party stock footage and music in what it produces. Where it does, it records the source and the licence for every item it uses. You are responsible for confirming that the licence covers your intended use — commercial and paid advertising use in particular — before you publish.
5. What you may not do
- Publish content that is illegal, or that breaks the rules of the platform it is being published to.
- Use the service to impersonate a person or organisation, or to publish content presented as coming from someone it does not.
- Publish content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights.
- Attempt to gain access to another customer's account, data or connected channels.
- Resell or redistribute the service without a written agreement with us.
- Use the service to send spam or coordinated inauthentic content across many accounts.
6. AI-generated output, and your responsibility for it
SendTroy uses AI models to write, produce and review content. AI output can be wrong. It can contain factual errors, and it can produce something that reads well and is nonetheless inaccurate.
You are the publisher. The approval step exists so that a person decides what goes out. You are responsible for reviewing content before you approve it, and for any claim it makes about your business.
7. Availability
We aim to keep the service running, and we do not promise it will be uninterrupted. We may take it down for maintenance, and we may change or remove features. If we make a change that materially reduces what a paid plan provides, we will tell you before it takes effect.
8. Fees
Where a plan is paid, the price, the billing period and what is included are shown before you buy. Fees are charged in advance and, unless the law says otherwise, are not refundable for a period already started. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for.
9. Ending it
You can close your account at any time. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms — and where the breach is not serious we will tell you what the problem is and give you a chance to fix it first.
When an account is closed, connected social accounts are disconnected and their stored tokens are deleted. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to the rest of your data and when.
10. Liability
To the extent the law allows, SendTroy is provided as-is, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — lost profit, lost revenue, lost data or lost opportunity — arising from your use of it. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is material we will notify account holders by email or in the product before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the updated terms.
